Model-specific warranty terms
Before purchasing, request the warranty duration, start date, covered defects, exclusions and claim procedure for the selected model. The terms may differ between samples, development builds, finished devices, accessories and software services. This page does not create a blanket 12-month or 24-month promise. The accepted quotation or warranty agreement should identify the seller, buyer, model and support responsibilities, without overriding rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Coverage and agreed remedies
Describe the product performance and manufacturing requirements that form the acceptance baseline. If a covered defect is confirmed, the available remedy may be repair, replacement, parts support, credit or another solution agreed by the parties. State who makes the assessment and how a remedy is approved. A website support overview should not be read as an automatic refund promise. Warranty for an accessory, battery or hosted service should be recorded separately where the scope differs.
Limitations to discuss before ordering
Agree how normal wear, consumable parts, misuse, physical damage, unauthorized modifications, incompatible accessories and operation outside documented conditions are treated. For water resistance, ask for the tested configuration, usage limits and maintenance guidance rather than assuming unlimited protection from a rating. Any exclusions must be consistent with the contract and applicable law. A health-tracking output should not be represented as a guaranteed clinical outcome unless that intended use and supporting evidence are specifically established.
Information for a support request
Provide your company, order or invoice reference, model, batch or serial identifier, quantity affected and a clear fault description. Include the firmware and app version, host system, charging accessories, relevant use conditions and the steps needed to reproduce the issue. Photos, videos or recorded test results can help. Share only necessary information: do not include patient records, passwords or unrelated customer data in an ordinary support email.
Initial checks and remote review
Compare the reported behavior with the approved specification, sample and instructions. A support contact may ask you to check charging, pairing, app permissions, firmware or accessory compatibility. Follow only the instructions suitable for the model; do not open a device or attempt repairs that could create a safety risk or conflict with the warranty. Keep an issue log so repeated faults, software changes and the outcome of each check remain traceable.
Return authorization and shipment
Obtain return authorization and the correct receiving address before sending a device or batch back. Agree the units to return, packaging, included accessories, reference labels and documentation. Remove account access or personal data where appropriate under an agreed process. Battery-powered returns require a shipment check with the carrier. Freight, insurance, customs and return costs must follow the agreed claim terms; this page does not assume that every return shipment is prepaid.
Inspection and resolution
On receipt or evidence review, the responsible team should compare the fault with the claim, order configuration and agreed coverage. Additional testing or clarification may be needed. Request a recorded assessment and the proposed resolution, including any parts, replacement units or revised software. Timing depends on the issue, available parts and shipment requirements; no fixed response or repair deadline is asserted here unless included in the order’s support agreement.
Batch issues and corrective action
For a repeated or batch-level issue, identify affected quantities, lots and shipment dates rather than treating each unit as an isolated claim. Agree containment, sample analysis and the evidence needed to review the cause. If a specification or process change is proposed, record its effect on existing stock and future production. Keep any corrective-action report linked to the order and approved revisions. Claims of fault-free production or universal failure-rate targets are not made by this policy.
Software, apps and AI services
Connected products can depend on an app, firmware, account, API or third-party AI service. Confirm the support owner, release policy, compatibility scope and any recurring fee before ordering. An update may require a controlled validation rather than immediate deployment to all units. A hardware warranty does not automatically include lifetime cloud hosting, free AI usage, source-code delivery or indefinite OS compatibility. Agree data export and transition responsibilities where they matter to the product lifecycle.
Accessories, spare parts and end of life
Discuss charging docks, cables, straps, replacement units and other spares in the procurement plan. Availability and lead time should be confirmed for the expected selling life, especially for customized components. For a model discontinuation, clarify notice, final-order opportunities and software or service implications where these are part of the agreement. New orders should identify whether the same revision remains available or a substitute needs fresh sample approval.
Buyer channel support and contact
Distributors, retailers and private-label brands should define how end-user cases reach the B2B supplier and which party handles local support. Prepare product instructions, onboarding and a consistent fault intake process. The retailer’s consumer-facing obligations are separate from the supplier’s B2B agreement. To start a review, use the contact page or email sales@starkingsmartring.com with the order reference, model and evidence. Shipping & Delivery explains the related receiving and transport checks.
Common questions
What is the warranty period?
It must be confirmed for the selected model in the written quotation or warranty agreement. This page does not offer a universal duration.
Can we return a faulty batch immediately?
Contact the team with the order, batch and fault evidence first. Obtain authorization, address and shipment instructions before returning units.
Does the hardware warranty include lifetime AI or cloud services?
Not automatically. App, AI, API and cloud-service responsibilities and costs must be agreed separately.
