Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small item of data that a service can store through your browser. Websites may also use local storage, session storage, pixels or other technologies for different purposes. These mechanisms are not interchangeable: a session-stored form draft is different from a cookie used for advertising or a hosted sign-in session. This page describes the application features included in the current website and separates them from storage controlled by external providers.
The RFQ draft stored in your browser
The website application uses session storage under the key sk-rfq after you select Prepare inquiry. It contains the inquiry values needed to restore your draft in the current browser context, such as contact details, product and requirements. It is not used as an advertising identifier, and this version does not send the saved draft to a website lead database. Use Clear draft to remove it; any downloaded text file or email draft is managed separately by your device or mail application.
How long a local draft remains
Session storage normally follows the current browser session, but browser restore features and tab behavior vary. An inquiry draft may reappear if a session is restored. For a shared device, explicitly select Clear draft and review browser storage settings before leaving. The website does not use local storage for a long-term customer profile in this version. If storage is unavailable, the form can still prepare an email message or downloadable brief without successfully retaining a local draft.
Hosting and access services
WordPress, WooCommerce and any enabled account or access services can use cookies or similar storage for authentication, cart contents, security and sessions. The platform may use cookies or other operational storage to manage access, security and session behavior under its own policies. Those settings are not controlled by the RFQ draft feature. A statement that this application has no added advertising tracker should not be read as a guarantee that a browser will receive no cookie from the hosting environment or from a service you independently visit.
Fonts, images and external requests
The stylesheet requests Google Fonts for typography. The request can reveal ordinary connection information to that service even when no advertising tracker is added. Selected STAR KING product images are cached and served as website assets. Opening an external service, using an email application or scanning a WhatsApp QR code takes you into another provider’s environment. Review that provider’s policies and browser settings for any storage used there.
Analytics and advertising in this version
The redesigned page templates add no Google Analytics code, Meta Pixel, remarketing tag or visitor analytics script. This does not describe tracking that may be supplied by existing WordPress plugins, ecommerce features or third-party integrations. The RFQ draft is not sent to an advertising audience. Hosting security logs are separate from a visitor analytics feature. If analytics or advertising is introduced later, the application’s notice and controls should be changed to reflect the actual implementation and the applicable requirements before the feature is used.
Browser controls and clearing data
Your browser can help you inspect or clear site data, block third-party cookies and manage provider permissions. Settings vary by browser and device. Clearing all site data can also remove sign-in or access state controlled by the hosting service. On the inquiry page, Clear draft targets the application’s RFQ draft without intentionally clearing unrelated service data. Private browsing can reduce persistence but does not make requests anonymous to your network, host or external services.
Preferences, updates and questions
The redesigned templates do not add optional analytics or advertising. Consent controls for any active WordPress plugins or external integrations must reflect their actual configuration. A future release that adds optional tracking should provide controls matched to the real technologies. Review the Privacy Policy for inquiry information and contact the team if you need clarification about a browser draft. For a hosting-account cookie or access issue, also consult the hosting provider or site owner.
Common questions
Does the form use an advertising cookie?
No. The application saves a local RFQ draft in session storage; it is not an advertising identifier.
Will Clear draft delete my emailed inquiry?
No. It clears the application’s browser-session draft. Sent email and downloaded files must be managed separately.
Why can I still see provider cookies?
Hosting access controls and external services can use their own storage. Those features are separate from this website’s RFQ application.
